Cambridge Stevens Pointe Pool
Rules & Regulations

Safety Rules:

 

• Swimmers use the pool at their own risk. 

• Children under 12 years of age may only use the pool with supervision of someone 

   16 years of age or older.  

• Children 12 years and older may swim without adult supervision if they have parental 

   permission. 

• No one under 16 may swim alone.

• Pool gates must be closed and locked at all times unless entering or exiting the area. 

• Lifeguard on Duty hours will be posted as determined by the Board of Directors and 

   are subject to change.

• No running, pushing, or any behavior causing undue disturbances is permitted in the 

   pool area.

• No glass containers are permitted within 10 feet of the pool.

• No unnecessary conversation or loitering around the lifeguard on duty is permitted.

• Jumping off the lifeguard stand is strictly prohibited.

• Children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.

• Parents are required to ensure their children are familiar with and abide by all 

   regulations.

• Whether present or not, parents are responsible for the conduct of their children and 

   guests using the pool facilities.

• No pets are allowed inside the fenced area of the pool facility.

• No food or gum may be brought within 5 feet of the pool. 

• Climbing on or over the fence is prohibited. 

 

 

Rules for Maintaining Facility Cleanliness

 

• Please remove all toys and floats from the pool upon leaving.

• Empty skimmers each time you visit the pool.

• Replace chairs and close umbrellas before leaving the pool.

• If you see supplies running low, please replenish or contact csppool1@gmail.com.

   All paper supplies and propane purchases will be reimbursed.

• Gas grills should remain covered when not in use.

• Please remove any trash whether it is yours or not. Trash should be placed in the large 

   rolling containers outside the gate.

• Trash collection days are Tuesday and Friday. Please roll the cans to the street prior to 

   those collection days.

• If you find items left by other members please place in designated lost and found area.

• Members are welcome to skim the pool if necessary but please leave other pool care 

   to trained individuals, employees, and Board members

 

Please keep in mind that our pool is managed completely by volunteers. It requires all 

members to assist in keeping the facility clean and in operational order.

 

 

Guest Policy

 

• Guest fees are $5 per guest per day. Guest fees can be placed in the locked guest fee    

   box or pool mailbox. Please include the guest fee form with your payments.

• Each membership is entitled to a maximum of five (5) guests per visit. 

• Unaccompanied children (aged 12-18) are limited to one guest each.

• All guests must be accompanied by a pool member during their entire visit. 

• Guests must leave when sponsor member leaves.

• Guests are subject to all rules that apply to pool members, including age limits.

• Conduct of guests is the direct responsibility of the sponsoring member.

• Individuals or families who have been denied membership by the association, or have    

   been suspened or expelled may not come as guests.

• Guests may not be residents of Cambridge or Stevens Pointe neighborhoods.

 

Code of Conduct

 

In order to maintain a family friendly atmosphere at our neighborhood pool, we ask all 

members to please abide by our code of conduct. Failure to do so may mean a suspension 

or explusion of membership. 

 

• Loud and/or profane language will not be permitted. Offenders will be asked to leave 

   the property.

• Revealing swimwear is prohibited.

• Clothing with offensive images or rude language is prohibited. 

• Smoking is prohibited within the fenced area of the pool facility.

• Discrete use of alcoholic beverages is permitted. Excessive use of alcohol or use of 

   alcohol by anyone under the age of 21 is strictly prohibited. Violators will be asked to 

   leave the premises and may result in forfeiture of membership privileges.

• The use of music speakers is permitted but only in instances where the music does 

   not bother other guests. All music should be family friendly. Music with lude, 

   suggestive, or profane lyrics will not be tolerated. The music volume should not 

   exceed a talking level.

• Parents must supervise children under the age of 12. 

• Harassment of other members and guests is prohibited. 

 

As a condition of membership, each member or guest member acknowledges and 

agrees that the Cambridge Stevens Pointe (CSP) Pool Association is absolved of any 

and all liability for injury or loss of property. Members agree to “swim at your own risk”.

 

The Pool Association accepts no responsibility for damage to personal property or the  

loss of money, valuables, or other articles belonging to those using the pool.

 

The Pool Association appreciates your respect of the above stated regulations. 

Members found to be in violation of the above stated guidelines may be required to 

forfeit their membership for the remaining pool season.
